Strategies for Reducing the Impact of Know Teratogens

On Sunday afternoon from 2:30-5:30 pm, a unique session entitled "Strategies for Reducing the Impact of Known Human Teratogens" will be presented.  The session is jointly sponsored by Teratology Society, Neurobehavioral Teratology Society (NBTS) and the Organization for Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS).  In contrast to the more common approach of examining the effects of a chemical or drug, this multi-disciplinary symposium will present new research on the impact of strategies such as micronutrient supplementation, thyroid hormone, and folic acid, which can reduce the impact of teratological exposures.
