ILSI HESI Symposium

The HESI DART Committee is pleased to sponsor the symposium "Predictive Toxicology: Screening Tools and Mechanistic Support." The objective of this session is to discuss alternative approaches to predicting developmental toxicity, a key issue for the 21st century. Speakers represent the chemical, pharmaceutical and consumer products industries as well as governmental research agencies.

This symposium is geared towards a broad audience focused on learning and understanding the potential application of newer in vitro approaches for pathway-based models predictive of developmental toxicity that can help inform when animal studies might be needed and perhaps in which species is most appropriate.
