Student and Postdoc Activities

The Teratology Society Annual Meetings provide a prime opportunity for Student and Postdoctoral attendees to meet renowned scientists and establish long-lasting friendships and collaborations. Those who gather in Bellevue have the opportunity to participate in exciting sessions and networking events. On Saturday evening, get acquainted or reacquainted during the Student/Postdoctoral Fellow Mixer from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. This event is an informal gathering hosted by the Teratology Society. Information is  available at the registration desk.

At this year’s annual meeting, the students and postdocs are encouraged to participate in our first annual Teratology Society Treasure Hunt. A list of tasks will be available at the registration desk. All students/postdocs are encouraged to participate.  There will be prizes for participants and a drawing for a grand prize of $100. Consider the experience a human treasure hunt. Students, learn about different career paths and forge relationships that you will “treasure” throughout your career! Members, please welcome them, engage with them openly, and encourage them, as they are the future of our science and our Society.

For more details about the Annual Meeting, visit the meeting website. Information about daily activities can be viewed via the Annual Meeting Blog.
