In this issue of BDRA, the 2nd Annual International OTIS-ENTIS meeting program is presented, with over 75 abstracts covering a wide array of cutting-edge new data on exposures in pregnancy and lactation.

This international meeting brings together Teratology Information Specialists representing over 30 countries throughout the world.

A number of abstracts published in this issue cover the ongoing global issue of inadvertent exposure to isotretinoin in early pregnancy, emerging data on prenatal exposure to anti-TNF alpha medications, opioids, anticonvulsants, methimazole, thalidomide, and fertility medications.  Other sessions will focus on maternal conditions and their effect on pregnancy outcome, such as nausea and vomiting of pregnancy and hyperemesis gravidarum, exposures during lactation, biomarkers of fetal toxicity, exposure to alcohol and drugs of abuse, and pharmacovigilance.
