FASEB Announces Annual BioArt Competition - Entry Deadline - August 31

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), of which the Teratology Society is a member, launched the fourth annual BioArt competition and is accepting entries through August 31. Participants are invited to submit captivating, high-resolution images and videos produced as part of cutting-edge life science research. The competition is open to members of FASEB constituent societies as well as to other biomedical and life scientists who can demonstrate current or previous funding from a US federal agency.

Through the BioArt competition, FASEB hopes to share the beauty and excitement of biological research with the public. Each day, scientific investigators produce thousands of images and videos as a part of their research—from the collection of image-based data to the visualization of results and the illustration of complex findings. However, only a few are ever seen outside of the laboratory. The FASEB BioArt competition provides a unique venue to share this visual data and the research behind it.

Previous winning images are on display at the National Institutes of Health. To learn more about the competition or submit an entry, please visit www.faseb.org/bioart or contact FASEB at BioArt@faseb.org.
