Job Description:  Epidemiologist to handle all epidemiologic activity pertaining to microcephaly and other birth defects thought to arise from prenatal infection with Zika virus. Includes coordinating information exchange with the US Zika Pregnancy Registry, coordinating rapid ascertainment data collection activities, conducting epidemiologic analyses of data in the Texas Birth Defects Registry, helping with referral of affected children/families into services. At least a Master’s degree in Epidemiology preferred. This is a grant-funded position; potential funding for five years if we are successful in being awarded the grant. Annual salary: $64,000.
