Teratology Society Annual Meeting Highlights - Tuesday, June 28

Coffee and pastries will be available for meeting attendees in Texas Ballroom B at 7:30 am.

Sunrise Mini Course

The Sunrise Mini Course starts at 7:00 am in Texas Ballroom D. This year’s course topic is Big Data. Separate registration is required for this Education Course. Coffee and a light continental breakfast will be provided for course registrants from 6:30 am–7:00 am.

Morning Sessions

Coffee and pastries will be served in Texas Ballroom B at 8:00 am.

At 8:30 am in Texas Ballroom D, Christina Chambers will give the Robert L. Brent Lecture, titled Preventing the Preventable: Where Do We Stand on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders in 2016? This lecture is a joint session with OTIS.

The Public Affairs Symposium, a joint session with DNTS and OTIS, will begin at 9:00 am in Texas Ballroom D. This year’s topic is Depression and Its Treatment in Pregnancy.

Every Assay Needs An Anchor: The Search for Reference Developmental Toxicants Workshop will begin at 9:00 am in Texas Ballroom E.  Six speakers will present during this workshop.

Afternoons Session

In the afternoon, two symposia will begin at 1:30 pm. Increasing the Prevalence of Gastroschisis will be held in Texas Ballroom E. Advances in Placental Research will occur in Texas Ballroom D.

Platform Session 3 will begin at 3:30 pm in Texas Ballroom E. There will be six platforms during this session related to the topic of Clinical Teratology.

Poster Session 2

Poster Session 2 will begin at 5:30 pm in Texas Ballroom B. A full list of posters presented during this session is available in the Annual Meeting Program on the Annual Meeting website.

35th Annual Volleyball Game

Get your rest for the Teratology Society 35th Annual Volleyball Game. The game will be Wednesday, June 29 at theFactory of Champions. Those who would like to participate should meet in the hotel lobby Wednesday morning at 6:00 am, to get a cab to the court. Players and spectators are welcome.
