Call for Applications: Birth Defects Research Journal Editor Positions

Birth Defects Research, the official journal of the Teratology Society, is looking for individuals to serve in each of the following positions:

  • Editor, clinical and molecular teratology content
  • Editor, reproductive and developmental toxicology content
  • Editor, embryo today (review) content

The terms of these positions are January 1, 2018, through December 31, 2022, with potential to renew for one or two additional terms. The three new Editors will work closely with each other and with an Editor-in-Chief who will be appointed to lead Birth Defects Research, the single combined journal that unifies our three previous journals, BDR-A, BDR-B, and BDR-C.*

If you are interested in being considered or would like to suggest someone for one of these Editor positions, please contact Dr. Brian Enright, Chair, Editor Search Committee, at brian.enright@abbvie.com no later than February 10, 2017.

A description of the Birth Defects Research Editorial Board, including specific responsibilities of each Editor position, is available for download HERE.

*Implementation of this plan requires a change to the Teratology Society Constitution and Bylaws. Proposed changes to the Constitution and Bylaws are currently under consideration by the membership.
