FASEB Mentored Poster/Platform Presentation Travel Award - Applications Due April 14

The FASEB Mentored Poster/Platform Presentation Travel Award is administered as part of the FASEB Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program. The overall objective of the FASEB MARC Program is to help strengthen the research training opportunities for students, postdoctoral fellows and academic/research early-career scientists from underrepresented groups. A key objective of the MARC Program is the encouragement, preparation and support of underrepresented students in the pursuit of postgraduate education leading to the Ph.D., M.D.-Ph.D., or other combined professional degree-Ph.D. in the biomedical and behavioral sciences.

The FASEB Mentored Poster/Platform Presentation Travel Award provides funding for one underrepresented PhD-graduate/undergraduate student or postdoctoral fellow who is first author (first person listed on the abstract; co-first-authors are not considered) and has been selected to give an oral or poster presentation at the Teratology Society Annual Meeting. Applications are due by April 14, 2017 (5PM EDT).  The application may be downloaded from the Annual Meeting website.

Please note that the Abstract Submission Deadline for the Teratology Society Annual Meeting is February 15, 2017. Abstract submission instructions are available on the Annual Meeting website.
