Cast Your Vote: Teratology Leadership & Constitution and Bylaws Amendments

The Teratology Society’s Nominations and Elections Committee has selected the candidates for this year’s election. This year we will be electing a Vice President-Elect and a Councilor. Each candidate has agreed to volunteer his or her time and energy to serve both the Society and its members. In addition, this year there are several proposed amendments to the Society’s Constitution and Bylaws.

The Society needs active participation from its members to stay vital—so please take the time right now to review the materials and cast your vote!

The Teratology Society ballot is presented in electronic format on BDR Connection. Please review the Candidate Summaries and Proposed Amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws and then complete your electronic ballot. All votes must be cast before 12:00 midnight EDT on May 24, 2017. I encourage you to do it now while it is on your mind. A good voter turnout will give us the best possible outcome and best represent the views of the membership.

Thank you to the Nominations and Elections Committee and Constitution and Bylaws Committee for their hard work in preparing this year’s ballot and supporting materials.

The Society values your input and active participation. The ballot results will be announced via email prior to the Teratology Society 57th Annual Meeting being held June 24-28, 2016 in Denver, Colorado. Alan Hoberman and the Program Committee have organized an exciting and highly educational scientific program. So, please also take the time right now to register for the meeting and secure your hotel room. I look forward to seeing you in Denver.

Sincerely,

Sonja A. Rasmussen

President, Teratology Society
