Submit Late-Breaking Abstracts for Teratology Society by June 1

The Late-Breaking Abstract submission deadline for the Teratology Society’s 57th Annual Meeting will soon be upon us. Whether you have new data to present or were unable to submit your abstract in February, you have the opportunity to submit an abstract for poster presentation during the 2017 meeting. Accepted late breaking abstracts will be assigned to either Poster Session 1 on Monday, June 26 or Poster Session 2 on Tuesday, June 27. The accepted late-breaking abstracts will be included in the online registration materials available to all attendees.

Remember to submit your abstract for the meeting by Thursday, June 1 in order to be considered for a poster presentation.

The meeting will be held June 24–28, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. The theme for this year’s meeting is “World Spotlight: Elevating Birth Defects Research.” The program offers an exciting variety of scientific sessions on topics related to birth defects, including managing the pregnant patient with chronic disease; the Zika virus as a teratogen; the future of testing for birth defects; long-term outcome and quality of life of children with birth defects; metabolic diseases and pregnancy; emerging mechanisms and human consequences of fetal exposure to e-cigarettes and marijuana; CRISPR/Cas9 technology and the study of birth defects; pregnancy registry updates; as well as original platform and poster presentations, and a student and postdoctoral career workshop. Once again, we are pleased to offer joint sessions and a joint registration fee to maximize interactions with our sister societies, the Developmental Neurotoxicology Teratology Society (DNTS) and Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS).

We hope to see you in Denver this June. If you have not yet done so, take advantage of the reduced registration and lodging rates by registering and making your hotel reservation today.
