Teratology Society Annual Meeting Highlights - Wednesday, June 28

36th Annual Volleyball Game

The Teratology Society 36th Annual Volleyball Game will be held this year at Benedict Fountain Park. Those who would like to participate should meet in the hotel lobby at 6:00 am to get a cab to the court. Players and spectators are welcome.

 

Morning Sessions

The Teratology Society and European Teratology Society Exchange Lecture, Morphological Variations in Animal Studies: Useful for Human Risk Assessment or a Red Herring? will be held in Aspen Ballroom at 8:30 am.

 

An Update on The Zika Virus Symposium will be held at 9:35 am in Aspen Ballroom. The symposium will include information on the risks associated with Zika infection during pregnancy, neurobehavioral effects of prenatal Zika infection, and efforts to develop treatment strategies.

 

Coffee and pastries will be available for meeting attendees in Aspen Foyer at 8:00 am. The Warkany Tea will be held jointly with DNTS in Aspen Foyer at 11:00 am.

 

Afternoon Sessions

From Front Page to the Digital Stage: How to Keep Research Relevant Through Modern Media Workshop will start at 1:30 pm in Colorado Ballroom A. The session will include Q&A for attendees to have their specific questions addressed by the expert panel.

 

The ILSI HESI Workshop, Redesigning the Embryofetal Developmental Toxicity Study: Evolution or Revolution? will begin at 1:30 pm in Aspen Ballroom.

 

Platform Session 3, with ten presentations focusing on Clinical Teratology, will be held in Colorado Ballroom B starting at 1:30 pm. See the full list of presentations in the Annual Meeting Program.

 

The Teratology Society Business Meeting will be held at 4:30 pm in Aspen Ballroom.

 

Banquet

The Annual Meeting Banquet will begin at 7:30 pm in Capitol Peak Ballroom. The Banquet is preceded by a reception that begins at 6:30 pm in Capitol Peak Ballroom Foyer. Celebrate with your colleagues as Teratology Society Awards are presented and enjoy dinner and dancing as the meeting ends.
