Registration Now Open for Human Teratogens Course, February 24-26, 2019 in Tampa, FL

The Human Teratogens course, led for many years by Dr. Lewis B. Holmes in Boston, Massachusetts, has moved! It will now take place at the Center for Advanced Medical Learning and Simulation (CAMLS) in Tampa, Florida, under the leadership of Dr. Sarah G. Obican.

As the only program of its kind nationally, the Human Teratogens Course will provide balanced and comprehensive information on the current knowledge and controversies in the field of teratology and counseling for pregnancy exposures. The faculty, many of whom are teratology and toxicology experts, will present lectures that will cover basic principles of teratology, embryology, and epidemiology as well as detailed information regarding maternal conditions and environmental exposures which may pose teratogenic effect in pregnancy and lactation. The course will also provide up-to-date information on common exposures and hot topics such as Zika and Opioids, which providers are likely to encounter in their practice.

The target audience for this course includes: obstetricians, maternal fetal medicine specialists, genetic counselors, pharmacists, and allied health professionals. Teratology Society members may receive a registration discount by using discount code TS during registration.
