SPECIAL LECTURE: JANET HARDY - DELIVERING PRENATAL CARE IN LESS DEVELOPED COUNTRIES
Our last special lecture of the 2012 Annual Meeting will be given by Dr. Janet Hardy, an epidemiologist whose varied career has engaged her in numerous projects aimed at improving prenatal care and safe delivery in low resource populations across the globe. Her lecture will raise awareness of the challenges and promising solutions to the delivery of prenatal care to these vulnerable populations.

Attendees unwind from a busy week of science by staying for the Annual Meeting Banquet. The Banquet Reception will start at 6:30 PM in the Grand Foyer West, followed by dinner in Grand Ballroom V starting at 7:30 PM. During the evening, Student Travel Awards, as well as the Bradford, Wilson, Taubeneck and Distinguished Service awards will be presented. Afterwards, enjoy the music of “Three Worlds”, a unique instrumental jazz, R&B, and world music group traveling all the way from Michigan featuring Ed Carney on saxophones, and special guest artist and Past President, Tom Knudsen.
