Teratology Society Annual Meeting abstracts due Feb. 15; Researchers affected by recent federal government shutdown may request extension

Calling all researchers!

If you conduct research related to teratology, birth defects, developmentally-mediated disorders, or reproduction, we want you!

The 59th Annual Meeting of the Teratology Society will take place June 22-26, 2019 in San Diego, California. This year’s theme is “Sea Changes in Birth Defects Research and Prevention.” The Program Committee, chaired by Dr. Christine P. Curran, has put together an outstanding program around this theme with an exciting variety of scientific symposia and workshops.

Now we need your cutting-edge research to make this meeting truly extraordinary!

Presenting an abstract at the Annual Meeting provides a way to share your research with your colleagues and learn about the latest discoveries from world experts in a friendly and approachable environment.

Submit your abstract online by February 15, 2019. Researchers affected by the recent federal government shutdown may request an extension for abstract submission by emailing Becca Isakower (bisakower@teratology.org).

If your abstract is selected for presentation, you must register to attend the Teratology Society Annual Meeting.

Trainees who submit an abstract are encouraged to apply for a travel award. Additional competitive awards are available.

Please visit the Annual Meeting website to access the full meeting agenda, abstract submission site, travel award details and application form, online registration, and hotel information.
