We are looking for qualified Formulation Technicians in our Horsham Safety Assessment office. The Formulations Technician will prepare routing test article/substance dosage solutions and/or suspensions in accordance with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) guidelines under direct supervision and may serve as primary technician on studies. In a typical day, you will perform standardized preparation procedures and calculations, ensure record keeping is consistent and correct, complete documentation for the use of all test articles and vehicles/reagents to ensure consistency and correctness, and receive incoming test articles/substances and reagents.
Education: Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) or equivalent in Life Science, Chemistry, or related discipline. Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred.
Experience: 0-1 year related experience in chemistry laboratory setting or related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. Basic knowledge of GLPs preferred. A mathematical aptitude is required. A knowledge of Dispense software desired.
